Tonya Kipe

Tonya Kipe is an educator turned edupreneur with a passion for transforming education. After teaching in the public school system for 11 years, Tonya Kipe founded Kipe Academy in February 2022 and officially transitioned out of public education in June 2023 to focus on her vision full-time. Starting with just one student in January 2024, Kipe Academy grew to serve 26 students by the end of the year. As a mother of two sons—one who was homeschooled through high school and one who graduated from public school—Tonya Kipe has experienced the diverse paths education can take. She loves leading Kipe Academy, fostering a love for learning in her students, and empowering other edupreneurs with the tools and network they need to grow their own microschools.
